Combat armor in Plutonia Experiment, MAP15

The combat armor (also known as blue armor or MegaArmor) is a powerup that appears as a blue breastplate. Picking one up increases the player's armor to 200%. If the player already has 200% armor, it remains on the ground.

Combat armor will absorb one-half of all damage received (instead of the normal one-third) until it is fully depleted. If the player is damaged such that there are fewer than 100 points of combat armour, the combat armour will be replaced with security armor if the player picks up a security armour power-up; thus, given the lesser protection of security armor, it may be wise for the player to avoid security armor power-ups.

If the player picks up a standard armor bonus, the player's armor will remain as combat armor, and will be incremented by one point.
