Michael Raymond-Judy is one of level designers in Heretic and Hexen titles, among others. He worked on all levels in Heretic and its expansion, either designing them entirely or merely touching them up and fixing texture alignments. According to Kevin Schilder, he also provided the voice of the gargoyles[1].
