Mines of Titan is a single-level PWAD for Doom II that came out in 1995. It was designed by Jim Flynn.

Secrets

  1. The platform with the super shotgun at the top of the spiral staircase in the centre of the level counts as a secret. (sector 274)
  2. Surrounding #1 are three hexagonal pillars, two of which have three red switches, with the other having three green switches. The southern green switch lowers a lift in the dark corridor to the south-west. After riding this lift to the top, press the north-west wall – it opens, revealing a soul sphere and a light amplification visor. (sector 298)
  3. The north-eastern red switch of the north-eastern pillar (see #2) reveals a corridor to the east with a megasphere visible at the end. The megasphere can be accessed by pressing the north-eastern green switch, which lowers it briefly. Behind the megasphere is a teleporter taking you back to the centre room. (sector 275)
  4. The north-western red switch of the north-western pillar (see #2) opens up a passage to the east located just after the door to the south of the central room. Go right to the end of this passage and head back west. Each step can be lowered – behind the penultimate lift is a section of light brown wall which lowers on pressing, revealing a soul sphere. (sector 362)
  5. In the south-east of the level is a circular pool with a hexagonal structure containing 1-3 Hell knights in the centre. It can be accessed either from the passage south of the one containing #4 or by raising the steps using the switch located just before the jump across the gap at the bottom of the stairs. From the circular pool, head north along the grass to the east of the stairs and continue until you reach an energy cell. This marks a secret door – open it and go up the steps until you reach a crossroads. Turn right, then right again, and press the switch at the end. Go back to the crossroads, go straight across, turn right and continue until you reach an opened door (there may be a monster in here). Heading to the end of this room will raise some steps then open two doors, allowing a jump across the gap and up some more stairs. Continue to the end of the passage – you will reach an energy cell pack, from where it is possible to jump into the Hell knight structure where you will find a plasma rifle. (sector 421)
  6. After collecting the red key, jump across to the window then slowly move south until you land on a ledge. Follow the ledge east until you reach a switch, which lowers a lift in the south-west corner of the room passed just prior to the switch. From the lift, head north to a rocket launcher. A lift will lower, leading you back to the room just before the blue door (there is also another blue door that leads back to the red key room). There are two secrets here. (sector 756)

  8. The C-shaped building east of the exit building surrounds a grey square structure. After raising the stairs (by pressing the switches in the C-shaped building), jump towards the structure – the walls are fake, and an invulnerability is available. (sector 565)
  9. The room containing the teleporter that leads to the exit has a secret door in its north-east corner (marked by a health bonus) leading to the computer area map in the previous room. (sector 572)
