Motornerve is a twenty-one level megawad for limit removing source ports by Jon Vail (40oz). The mapset was designed and tested for deathmatch though maps were also intended to double as Hell Revealed-style "monsters-coming-at-you-from-every-direction" maps for single-player and cooperative modes. 40oz released the project on the Doomworld forums on July 19th, 2009. While he initially planned for the release to be a full 32-map megawad, he felt he ran out of good ideas after twenty-one maps.[1]
On December 10th, 2013, 40oz posted a two-map beta release for a potential twenty-level speedmapped sequel meant to coincide with Doom's 20th anniversary. A third map was posted on December 11th, though the project ultimately was not completed.

Trivia[edit]
- The idea of the deathmatch maps doubling as single player maps was inspired by Perdition's Gate.
