Compet-n runs
|
---|
NM100S is a Compet-N speedrunning category. The objective is to finish the level as quickly as possible in Nightmare!, with 100% secrets.
Contents
Current records
Ultimate Doom
11 speedrunners hold at least a single NM100S record for Doom. Radek Pecka is most successful with an achievement of seven current records.
Doom II
13 speedrunners hold at least a single NM100S record for Doom II. Henning Skogstø and Jim Leonard (Xit Vono) are most successful as they have five current records each.

1. ^ For these levels, the requirements of NM speed and NM100S are equivalent, so only the former category is tabulated by Compet-N.
2. ^ Compet-N does not maintain an NM100S competition for this level. Although it can be completed in Nightmare! without tallying 100% secrets, the resulting route takes the player much too far out of his way to conceivably set an NM speed record (see footnote 1).
3. ^ Due to design bugs in this level, it is not possible to enter every secret sector. A demo may qualify for inclusion in the Compet-N archive by tallying 90% secrets.
4. ^ Due to design bugs in this level, it is not possible to enter every secret sector. A demo may qualify for inclusion in the Compet-N archive by tallying 50% secrets.
5. ^ Compet-N does not maintain an NM100S competition for this level, presumably on the grounds that the secret sector must be crossed in order to reach the exit switch (see footnote 1). It should be noted, however, that the current UV speed record holder managed to finish the level with 0% secrets.
6. ^ Due to design bugs in this level, it is not possible to enter every secret sector. A demo may qualify for inclusion in the Compet-N archive by tallying 87% secrets.
7. ^ Uncompleted as of the most recent Compet-N database update.
8. ^ Players are permitted to use the official patch file (see Yellow keycard bug for details) when recording demos for this level.
9. ^ Due to design bugs in this level, it is not possible to enter every secret sector. A demo may qualify for inclusion in the Compet-N archive by tallying 75% secrets.
10. ^ Due to the exceptional nature of the level, NM100S runs may be completed via the secret exit.
