Nerve Software is a Dallas-based video game development studio co-founded by ex-id Software employee Brandon James. Many members of Rogue Entertainment joined this studio when Rogue closed down.

Nerve retained close ties to id Software. Among other titles less relevant to this wiki, they created the expansions Resurrection of Evil for Doom 3 and No Rest for the Living for Doom II. They also ported several id Software titles to the Xbox 360, notably Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Doom II.
