Bethesda Softworks announced via Twitter that Doom Eternal will be released on Valve's Steam platform, along with sister titles RAGE 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and eventually Fallout 76. After earlier statements that both Fallout 76 and RAGE 2 would be exclusive to the Bethesda.net store and launcher, it had been widely assumed that the publisher intended to take all of its titles exclusive to its own store. Bethesda had declined to offer any clarification on this point until now, only having called the matter "undecided" in the wake of announcements at QuakeCon 2018.[201903260229 1]

He has confirmed that the Big Box and Beast Box physical releases should now ship in April, and that as a result, he has chosen to also delay the availability of the WAD as a free online download until then.
