The Nightmare Spectre in the Sony PlayStation version of Doom.

The nightmare spectre is a tougher form of spectre found in the Sony PlayStation versions of Doom, having double the hit points of ordinary spectres and demons. It appears as a demon subtractively blended against the background graphics.

Notes

  • Nightmare spectres were featured in the Doom 64 TC, despite not appearing in the actual game.
  • Nightmare imps were also present in an early beta of the PlayStation game but were removed. They later returned in Doom 64.
