Nihility: Infinite Teeth is an episode replacement PWAD replacement for Doom, released in 2016 by Years. Meant to be the first in a planned 36-level set, it introduces several changes to the enemies and monsters through DeHackEd, and also other effects such as ambient sounds to complement the lack of a soundtrack. Many of the graphics and themes are directly inspired by the alpha versions of Doom.

Content[edit]

The WAD includes several new enemies and items through the DEHACKED lump.

Custom monsters[edit]

Imp superior
A dark gray imp that has more health than the normal variant and shoots a stream of red plasma, similar to an arachnotron. They can infight with normal imps. Replaces: arachnotron, HP: 80.
Psychic soul
A floating skull using the beta lost soul graphics that shoots a yellow plasma ball before charging at their target. They can shoot another plasma ball during the middle of their charge, meaning they can change direction without needing to hit a wall or target, making them less predicable and more dangerous. Replaces: lost soul, HP: 100.
Suicide zombie
A zombie sergeant that carries a stick of dynamite and chases the player. They explode when they are in melee range or when they die, so they are best taken out from a distance. They have a zero pain chance, meaning they cannot be stunned, but their explosion can be used to hurt or kill other monsters. Replaces: Hanging victim, guts removed, HP: 60.
Melee imp
A black imp that is slouched over and has mantis claws for hands (uses the sprites from Realm 667's Wraith, made by Vaper). It hunts down the player with remarkable speed and uses a quick slash attack that is as strong as a revenant's punch. They are less bullet-spongy compared to pinky demons, but their greater speed makes it harder to evade them. Replaces: dead demon, HP: 60.
Brown knight
A brown Hell knight that has slightly more health and throws red baron fireballs that do 9–72 damage instead of the normal 8–64. Replaces: baron of Hell, HP: 550.
Gray baron
A dark gray Hell knight that has even more health than the brown knight and also moves slightly faster. They fire red baron fireballs in a turret-like manner at their target. Replaces: dead lost soul, HP: 800.
Heresy baron
A baron of Hell that features tall pointy horns, giant bat wings and red glowing eyes. These demons have more health than a baron of Hell and throw two faster versions of the red baron fireballs in volleys of three, like the mancubus. Replaces: bloody mess 2, HP: 1100.

Unlike the vanilla baron of Hell and Hell knight, the brown baron, gray baron, and heresy baron can all infight with each other.

Unused/Unfinished[edit]

Seeker imp
A red imp that throws blue-purple fireballs that home in on the player like revenant missiles. Replaces: revenant, HP: 110.
Clone
A Doom marine that shoots plasma balls and has twice the firing rate of the arachnotron. Replaces: pain elemental, HP: 400.
Unfinished suicide zombie
A suicide zombie whose missile state causes it to blow up, resulting in it killing itself within just a few steps after being awoken. However, as long as its health remains above zero, it is not actually dead despite being reduced to a pile of gibs; its corpse can be further damaged, and triggering its pain state will result in its death sequence being activated once again, until its health is fully depleted. Replaces: mancubus, HP: 600.
Unfinished green imp
A green imp that performs a melee attack when spawned, then chases the player and stops when entering a missile state. It disappears on death and has the idle computer noises used from the WAD's environment as its death sound. Replaces: arch-vile, HP: 700

Custom weapons[edit]

Bayonet
A reskin of fist with only a very slightly faster attack animation but no damage increase.
Rifle
A reskin of the pistol with a new firing sound, a significantly increased rate of fire, and perfect accuracy.
Machine gun
A reskin of the chaingun with a new firing sound but no other changes.

Both the shotgun and plasma rifle have small modifications done to their sprites and a new firing sound but remain otherwise unchanged, while the rocket launcher uses a simple sprite reskin with no additional changes. Furthermore, the maximum carrying capacity for bullets is increased from 200 (400) to 300 (600), and the size of the clip is increased from 10 to 15.
