James Caldwell (also known as Obsidian) is a mapper from New Zealand, who joined the Doom community in 2012. Known for his mapping and DeHackEd work on several community projects, as well as being the original host of the Abyssal Speedmapping Sessions. In 2013, he was named one of the most promising newcomers at the 20th Annual Cacowards and his mapset Maskim Xul won a Cacoward in 2018.
