Ozonia is a full thirty-two-level Doom II megawad for Boom-compatible source ports created by Tomás Soares (Deadwing) and several guest mappers. It is the third installment in his Moonblood series, following 2018's Exomoon. It was heavily inspired by The Plutonia Experiment and focuses on creating strategic setpiece encounters with a low enemy count. On the highest difficulty setting, it aims to have a difficulty on par with that of Eviternity. The WAD has two new custom enemies and, as with the previous installments, it features an almost entirely custom soundtrack composed by Deadwing. The WAD was offered in two different formats - a "classic" version that utilizes a MIDI soundtrack and a "deluxe" version that features MP3 renditions of the soundtrack.

A development thread for the project was created on the Doomworld forums on December 4th, 2018 and Deadwing would post updates as he worked on the project during its three year development cycle. The first release candidate was posted in the thread on December 23rd, 2021, with a second release candidate following shortly after on December 31st. Besides The Plutonia Experiment, Deadwing has cited Eviternity, Ancient Aliens, the Back to Saturn X series, and the work of Nicolás Monti as inspirations for the WAD.
