PSXDOOM.WAD (called JIMSDOOM.WAD in the Sega Saturn port) is an IWAD containing all graphic resources used in the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn ports of Doom and Doom II. It does not contain any level or audio resources.
It was probably used by developers when creating or converting levels, but is too large to be used by the engine directly; instead each map is placed in its own WAD file and accompanied by MAPSPR#.IMG and MAPTEX#.IMG which contain the resources needed for the level.
