Pandora is a vanilla-compatible megawad for Doom II with 35 new levels designed by various members from the community, lead by Adam Bilbrough (Gibbon) and originally published on July 7, 2022.
The main goal of the community project is to recreate levels typically found in shovelware disks from the early era of Doom mapping. Particularly, the maps try to recreate the gimmicks and tropes commonly found in commercial compilations. As such, most of the maps present a very 1994 level style; monochrome and unaligned textures, simplistic detailing, outdoor areas, erratic enemy composition, high number of items and varying degrees of difficulty.
Despite this, all maps are fully playable without the need for cheats.
