Pascal vd Heiden

Pascal vd Heiden is the creator of the software and services featured at CodeImp, which is his trademark and nickname in the Doom community. Pascal vd Heiden has developed two major Doom related projects:

• Doom Connector is a service and matchmaker for online Doom multiplayer with various Doom source ports. Pascal vd Heiden designed and developed this service but is no longer involved in content administration since March 2004, Mancubus II and several moderators from all over the Doom multiplayer scene now maintain this service. Pascal vd Heiden still updates the software for bugfixes and improvements and is working on a new major version, "Doom Connector 4". More information in this product's article.

• Doom Builder is a map editor (level editor) for Doom and various Doom source ports. In August 2003, Pascal vd Heiden started this project as a basic map editor. Later he introduced 3D Mode editing in the Doom editing scene as it is known in the Duke Nukem Build editor. More information in this product's article.

Also hosting several public Doom servers that allow people to play Doom online. Some of these servers are for special multiplayer tournaments organised by other people in the community.
