RGCD Support Team

The RGCD Support Team (RGCD being short for rec.games.computer.doom) was an organization of volunteer coordinators and moderators of the main hierarchy of Doom Usenet groups during the 1990s. Responsibilities and activities included authoring of FAQs, answering questions, approving threads of discussion in moderated groups, and aiding in maintenance of the community culture and rules to the extent such was possible. Due to controversy, the title 'coordinators' was no longer used after October 1995.
