A rad suit pickup

The rad suit is an item in Doom Eternal and its expansions. It allows the Doom Slayer to walk on toxic sludge or swim in toxic water without taking damage for a short time.

Once a rad suit is collected, its remaining strength is displayed as a gauge above the armor bar. Pickups resembling radiation symbols can be found in hazardous areas, and will recharge the rad suit to 100% when picked up - these pickups will re-appear after a short time.

Once purchased, the "Hazard Protection" perk for the Praetor suit causes the rad suit to take less damage in toxic environments, allowing the player to remain in these areas for longer without a recharge.
