This level occupies the map slot STR02. For other maps with a non-standard slot, see Category:Non-standard map slots.

STR02: Too Young to Defend is the second map of Stronghold: On the Edge of Chaos. It was designed by Daniel Gimmer (Tormentor667) and uses a custom music track.

This level uses the "Deadline" mode, where the objective is to prevent any monsters from crossing the deadline.

Walkthrough[edit]

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Monsters will spawn at the north end of the level and head towards the deadline inside the building at the south end of the map; after reaching the large outdoor area they will split up, with monsters going south-east and south-west to use both entrances to the building. After wave seven, a set of bars on the east side of the outdoor area will lower and monsters will begin spawning from this point as well; they will all use the east entrance to the building.

Demons and spectres should be prioritized whenever they spawn, as they can quickly pass you and reach the deadline.

All the item pads can be found next to the deadline. A shotgun and ammo for it can be found in the center of the large outdoor area.
