ZDaemon Ultimate CTF (sometimes known as just Ultimate CTF) is a Doom II megawad meant for the capture the flag game mode. It was created by members of the ZDaemon community as a follow-up to the ZDaemon CTF series, which was then in progress and had already published its first two iterations. ZDaemon Ultimate CTF was first released on March 4, 2005, with an update following in April, and features 35 levels (33 in its initial version) by a variety of designers, including some who had worked on the ZDaemon CTF series. While it never managed to become as popular or well-regarded as its predecessor and inspiration, a few of the maps in ZDaemon Ultimate CTF are nonetheless fondly remembered and have been added to IDL mappacks over the years. Additionally, during development, an alternative version of the pack was developed and released for Skulltag, dubbed simply Skulltag CTF, at a time when the source port had a very low number of such maps available.
