A slaughter map is a style of fan-made Doom level where gameplay is centered around fighting large hordes of mid-tier monsters.

The Plutonia Experiment's MAP32 and PUNISHR.WAD, both designed by one of the Casali Brothers are cited as some of the earliest examples of a slaughter map. Most slaughter maps feature large arenas where large numbers of monsters typically attack in hordes, and the player is forced to apply "group management" techniques to attack groups numbers of monsters together. This necessarily requires the use of high-level weapons such as the rocket launcher, plasma rifle and BFG9000.

People have made many slaughter maps, getting harder and harder every year while players get better and better. Two popular maps are Okuplok Slaughter Map and Holy Hell Revealed.
