Squadron 417 is a 24-level megawad for Doom II, released in 1996. It was created by Keith Hickman, Jeff Cruser, Sam Lopresti and Damon Thomas. Unusually for a megawad of the time, Squadron 417 is meant to be played in Cooperative, with item and monster balance built exclusively with that mode in mind and even with one of the maps (MAP17) not being finishable in single player.
