Stephen McGranahan (SoM)

Stephen McGranahan, aka SoM (short for Strogg on Meth), is a prominent programmer in the Doom community, and has done considerate work on both the Doom Legacy and Eternity engines (Source ports). Among the things he have created are 3d floors, linked portals as well as adding Boom and FraggleScript support to the Legacy engine.
One of his latest achievements were to write an completely new renderer for the Eternity engine called Cardboard that among other things promises to have perfect 32-bit emulation of regular doom lighting, as well as fix the dancing lines bugs that's haunting most Doom ports.
