Talismans are items added to Strife by the Veteran Edition re-release. There exist three talismans: red, green, and blue. Collecting all three allows to obtain super-strength similar to the berserk powerup in Doom, which is normally only available with the pumpup b cheat code in Strife. It also unlocks the Berserk Reborn Steam achievement.
Graphically, the red and blue talismans are identical to the chalice return spots in Capture the Chalice mode. This explains why the sprite names start with FLG.

As a nod to Doom 64, the pickup messages are the same as those of the artifacts from that game.

- Green Talisman: "Whatever it is, it doesn't belong in this world..."
- Blue Talisman: "It must do something..."
When collecting the last of them, "You have super strength!" is appended to the pickup message.
Location
The red talisman is found in the super-secret MAP35: Factory: Production level.
