: Thanks for the clarification. I think "boom compatible" is not necessarily the right category, since that implies (to me, at least - perhaps this needs to be clarified?) using Boom features. The txt just says 'any source port' so I'd suggest {{cat|Limit-removing WADs}} might be best. -- [[User:Shambler|Shambler]] ([[User talk:Shambler|talk]]) 08:13, 14 July 2015 (CDT)

Hah - I tried to read more about this competition, in order to work out to what extent it is acknowledged that this follows doomworld's 10 sectors competition, and how seriously the organisers were making it. Of course the contestinfo.txt in the ZIP has no URL, no date, mentions newdoom precicely 0 times... -- Jdowland 17:45, 30 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Try reading the thread at Newdom forums. 84.10.103.180 18:17, 30 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Yes, I was using the thread as a base for the info I added, but I wasn't sure about it's direct relation to 10 sectors. Someone else added that. Also, as a side note, the /newstuff review it recieved is what partially prompted the contest judges to set up Newdoom WAD reviews. - DooMAD 18:28, 30 Dec 2005 (UTC)
I didn't say it was directly related - I just meant that it was similar. Illdo 07:38, 31 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Vanila incompatible[edit]

Some levels of this Pwad will not work properly with Doom2.exe or any vanila port. Already in the first level there are HOMs everywhere due to the segment limit and medusa effect making extreme slowdown. --MtErebus (talk) 08:05, 14 July 2015 (CDT)

Thanks for the clarification. I think "boom compatible" is not necessarily the right category, since that implies (to me, at least - perhaps this needs to be clarified?) using Boom features. The txt just says 'any source port' so I'd suggest Limit-removing WADs might be best. -- Shambler (talk) 08:13, 14 July 2015 (CDT)
