By this logic, we should have articles for Pantera, Slayer, Black Sabbath, and the S.O.D. just to say <strike>Bobby Prince ripped them off</strike> their songs were the basis of some of the Doom music. Which, of course, isn't really needed when you can just look them up in the Doom music and Doom II music articles, where they even have Wikipedia links! And besides that, I don't recall this wiki being a place to make articles about things with only tangential connections to Doom. I say this should be deleted. : IIRC there are a couple of minor exceptions to that (didn't Trent Reznor have some amount of direct communication with the developers?). On balance I would say delete in all those cases, because I think it makes reader navigation more difficult when we break up a long parent article into many new articles with only one sentence or one paragraph each. I know that not everyone agrees, however, including people who have done a lot more research into the music stuff than I have. Ryan W 22:47, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

:Delete. The articles for these bands would probably best serve as redirects pointing to the main music articles. -- Janizdreg 00:56, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

By this logic, we should have articles for Pantera, Slayer, Black Sabbath, and the S.O.D. just to say Bobby Prince ripped them off their songs were the basis of some of the Doom music. Which, of course, isn't really needed when you can just look them up in the Doom music and Doom II music articles, where they even have Wikipedia links! And besides that, I don't recall this wiki being a place to make articles about things with only tangential connections to Doom. I say this should be deleted. IIRC there are a couple of minor exceptions to that (didn't Trent Reznor have some amount of direct communication with the developers?).
