Someone's Additions are more speculation then fact...

Does the BFG 3.14 need it's own article? -- TheDarkArchon 14:36, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

3.14[edit]

Does anyone really think the people who made the doom movie ever played Doom, let alone were trying to make obscure references to Commander Keen or the Doom Bible? Sarge Baldy 20:46, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't get the reference myself, but '3.14' is the first three digits of pi, and so if that's the only coincidence, I'd say it was a coincidence. -- Jdowland 22:47, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
IIRC a lot of the pre-release press material suggested that, sadly, the people who made the movie did play Doom (the interviewees on the DVD extras were certainly proud of their work).  As the kids say, you can lead a horse to water...    Ryan W 21:58, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Nominating for deletion[edit]

As with the "Doom movie monster" articles, I don't think this needs its own separate article. I propose deleting this and merging any unique information into Doom movie. Fraggle 22:42, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Agree, delete. Bloodshedder 23:55, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
  • delete as per Fraggles rationale -- TheDarkArchon 00:10, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Maybe a merge to BFG 9000? oTHErONE (Contribs) 00:23, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
  • I think this article has already reached its maximum possible length, so it seems to make sense to merge it into Doom movie.    Ryan W 22:01, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Agreed, this should be merged and deleted. -- Janizdreg 22:43, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
