My friend Brett and I did those, I made a new site at d5m1.com with kind of a restored page about the wad histories plus other stuff. I changed the link here using just an IP but it's pending review. I was user Bikinibomb from 2007 but I can't login to that account anymore, no email connected to reset the password. Anyway if anyone wants there's stuff to submit articles and links for your own wads or whatever at d5m1.com.  --Asmo

: I reviewed the change but adjusted the link for that page to go directly to the relevant subpage since the article is about DWANGO5 in particular. It'd be appropriate to link to the root page if someone is to create a People-category article for you as a mapper, however. If you want to reclaim your old account, that is possible. You will need to contact me at haleyjd AT hotmail DOT com from the email address that you want your account to reference, and I can update it through the backend (the emails are missing because they were cleared from the database by Wikia during their export process for security reasons, so everybody migrating here had to go through this minor inconvenience). --Quasar (talk) 12:04, 9 September 2016 (CDT)

Very Little Information[edit]

For a DM WAD so iconic as DWANGO5, there is shockingly very little information here on it. I suspect it's because it has been viewed as a WAD for the "competitive" community to handle for so many years. Plus, it's not even on the idgames archives. I'd understand if it were beavis and butthead sound wad, but this is DWANGO-frickin'-5! We need history on this wad, who made it, what the levels are originally from, the midis, etc... I'll start a little investigation on it ASAP. ConSiGno (talk)

It's back again, another frag-filled compilation of the nation's best
deathmatch WADS. With input from various parts of the country, this
WAD contains 24 more of the best, most exciting and most played levels
for multiplayer games. With new music ranging from Nine Inch Nails
to Two Unlimited, I've added the best sounds to further enhance
your gaming experience!

All credit goes to the original authors of all 24 levels. Some levels
were taken from other compilations, so I may not have the actual
original filenames. However, the only credit I will take is for the
time to organize the levels and adding the new graphics and music.

Nothing contained in this WAD expresses the views or opinions of IVS/DWANGO.
This WAD has been released by an individual and is in no form an official
publication from IVS/DWANGO.

I reviewed the change but adjusted the link for that page to go directly to the relevant subpage since the article is about DWANGO5 in particular.
