What is this article for?

US$0.02:  This is a good idea if we plan to include detailed annotations of some kind (see here for some previous discussion), but otherwise it seems rather redundant with Doom source code, where anyone can just download the whole archive.    Ryan W 19:38, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't see how making it available to browse online is "redundant" when earlier today I was specifically looking for it on this Wiki so I could browse it --76.80.164.251 06:07, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
It is redundant because the whole package is already linked from Doom source code.  Which, incidentally, also obviates Ducon's concern about protecting the articles.    Ryan W 03:11, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Deletion

Entirely redundant as per above.  Our notability guidelines disparage articles which "duplicate information from another site without adding any new content".
