The scientist model from the E3 video is the same that is used in the final game for several characters, for instance Pierce Rogers. It's not the Betruger model with glasses added. Is there any proof that this character was supposed to be Betruger in the E3 video? If not, I am going to remove that line.--Tetzlaff (talk) 04:43, 9 June 2017 (CDT)

An interesting bit of trivia: the word "betruger" is German for deceit. Undoubtedly, this was intentional, as it's unlikely anyone in history ever took Betruger as a surname, given its meaning. I'll let someone else decide if this is worth mentioning in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.190.223 (talk)

That's already there, it's the first trivia point, even... It's been added way back in 2006. --Gez 21:15, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

E3 2002

Quote from the Trivia section: "In the E3 2002 demonstration of Doom 3, Betruger wears glasses or goggles, which were removed for the final release of Doom 3. In the demo video, he is shown pushing past a couple security guards to initiate a dangerous test sequence." The scientist model from the E3 video is the same that is used in the final game for several characters, for instance Pierce Rogers. It's not the Betruger model with glasses added.
