Disagree, if it's no longer relevant to the current status of the port then it should be rewritten in past tense with a note added explaining it is no longer available since ReMooD version X.Y.Z; but otherwise it's still relevant to the wiki. --Gez (talk) 09:46, 23 August 2016 (CDT)
I agree with Gez.  Documenting old data structures helps people understand old mods (and gives hypothetical far-future mappers more compatibility choices.  Whenever any software drops a feature, a percentage of users consider it indispensable and don't upgrade).  I'm sure we would track the history of ACS and FraggleScript if the ZDoom wiki didn't exist, so we should do it here also, unless we adopt a policy that popular ports deserve more technical detail.    Ryan W (usually gone) 20:35, 12 November 2016 (CST)

Closing as keep per the above.  No disrespect to the OP, who will never see these posts to rebut them, but half our primary material is obsolete and we still write about it.  :D   In general, when we have dropped historical detail, it's related to social interactions or project management; for technical aspects we assume we should be thorough.  Years from now, if history is unkind to ReMooD and someone thinks this article is an exception, feel free to renominate (but even then, merging would be a more transparent and inbound-link-friendly approach IMO).    Ryan W (living fossil) 04:08, 4 August 2017 (CDT)
