Notability and stuff[edit]

Once upon a time, we would have wanted each title to have an article Per Policy [tm], but now I'm not sure.  Many seem like proofs of concept more than anything, and even the fully interactive apps have a sameness about them.  On the other hand we must remember this was before smartphones, even before flip phones and Blackberrys, and I'm sure people played FPSes all day in class.  Such people may have to drop by and tell us which editions are truly interesting and which are not.

I unfortunately don't have thousands of dollars in vintage gear for playtesting either (programmable calculators were banned everyhere I went to school), but again given the massive market footprint, I'm optimistic it exists in the Doom community.  I did use the linked archive to weed out obvious duplicates.    Ryan W (living fossil) 20:49, 15 July 2017 (CDT)
