MAP31[edit]

Hi all DoomWiki contributors. Glad contributing here.

I have a little doubt with Three's a Crowd. On the companion .txt, Scypek2 call his megawad a 31 level megawad. That why i just went with that info, even when, technically, it is a 32 level mapset. Technically because there are 32 maps on the pwad, but Scypek2 call it 31 level because map31: The Way Forward? its not a playable map. It ends the same moment it start, kinda like a joke.

So we call it a 31 levels megawad like the author wanted or a 32 level megawad as it technically is?

Hope my question is clear, understandable and not annoying.

Have a nice day all! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by P41R47 (talkcontribs) .

If a map has no playability, it shouldn't have been wikilinked in the levels list, like these. But it was linked, and looks like a normal map in terms of layout and population, so I created the article for it. I don't have time to try all maps in advance of that process. And in this case I think the article is actually useful, because the player (if taking the secret exit on MAP15) passes through it in the middle of the megawad but it behaves in an unexpected manner. The article should describe this unusual behavior and, if possible, the reason why, then it can contribute to informing readers more thoroughly. And since it is a real level as such, it contributes to the total of 32, just like the totals of the two earlier examples. --Xymph (talk) 05:41, 10 March 2021 (CST)
Thanks for the answer, Xymph.
I already edited part of the information of Map31 to actually describe what is that strange behaviour in game.
Also, i really want to thank you for taking your time editing the articles i uploaded these days.
Your help was really useful and teched me a lot of things i didn't knew how to properly do. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by P41R47 (talkcontribs) .
It isn't all that friendly to mangle someone's alias, but I guess you didn't do it intentionally. Anyway, you're welcome. --Xymph (talk) 02:05, 11 March 2021 (CST)
