There is another important use of the VooDoo Doll and that is to give a weapon to the player. The VooDoo is one a lift and when it lowers and collects the weapon it is placed in yoru hand.

This is used in Plutonia - MAP06 - "Baron's Lair" to give weapons initially when approaching the central flaoting box-like skull. The Voodoo Doll is located near the original cluster of revenants on starting

Also used in TNT, Evilution - MAP18, "Mill". There are 2 Voodoo Doll's

Leaving the Central Area give you the Chain Gun, IIRC Entering the final arena where the CyberDemon, gives you the plasma gun

ZDoom

This seems to differ in ZDoom... I was playing Plutonia on line (2 player) and when we got to Map 06, I (player 1) started as undead, but my partner didn't. I asked him to kill me, but when I restarted, I couldn't get the weapons from the center skullbox. Any idea of why this happens? I think ZDoom prevents Player Start things to be stacked, causing the player to start like an undead... any ideas? hfc2x 21:45, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Reference problem
