Editing Talk:Wall texture From DoomWiki.org Warning: You are not logged in. Your IP address will be recorded in this page's edit history. Anti-spam check. Do not fill this in! Currently, the Texture article uses the generic acceptation of texture to create a disambiguation, but as far as the Doom engine games are concerned a texture is a wall texture specifically. What I propose it to mention this explicitly in the article (that while in general texture broadly means that, it means this in Doom) and to merge this article into Texture. The disambiguation is disruptive because it should be natural to use texture as an internal link for the Doom-related use of the term (an entry in TEXTUREx, mainly). Who is like God? 20:04, 5 September 2008 (UTC) : I agree, this just now caused a bit of confusion for me while I was searching around. I vote to merge this article with Texture. Also, there should be mention of flat textures at the top of the article to signify that wall textures and floor textures are indeed, separate formats. EarthQuake 01:18, 7 August 2009 (UTC) : Completely agree, merge.
