If we delete this it won't be necessary to use extra text when linking as weapon.

What do you mean?    Ryan W 00:36, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Heh, it was late at night and I guess my mind didn't register that the redirect itself allows one to use "weapon" as a link. I mean weapon instead or weapon (see URL). Regardless, if weapons is moved to weapon, it's more intuitive, because editors need not be aware of the redirect when linking from the singular word. To me naming articles, especially single word (or few word) ones with plurals is counterproductive, regardless of whether they list stuff (describe various weapons); a description of the type of objects listed is always convenient at the top: "A weapon is...", in addition to the convenience of using more automatically having linkage to both singular and plural uses. On top of that, if you use the singular version, linking using a plural version of the word still easy, due to how the wiki software works. A good example would be typing [[revenant]]s, which gets converted to revenants. So using the singular version is better all around. (linking wise, that is ;)) Nuxius 06:41, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

This thing should be taken care of, as it's a "broken" redirect as it stands. It's got some history by insertwackynamehere, before it got turned into a redirect. I'm willing to delete this in a couple of days if there are no objections. Who is like God? 23:26, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
