Macdoom support[edit]

"WolfenDOOM includes support for the Apple Macintosh version of Doom in addition to the more common PC version."

What is the technical meaning of this statement? Are there differences in the wad format for the original macdoom or something? Goyuken 20:59, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

The WAD format is the same (see discussion here), but IIRC there were a few changes in the executable.  For example, it contains a flamethrower and a rocket launcher, and the demo format is different (in the earliest versions there is no demo support at all).    Ryan W 00:12, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

What about WolfenDoom: Blade of Agony? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.195.23.128 (talk)

Split suggestion[edit]

Blade of Agony is a separate modification done in a different style by a different team under different leadership a decade later than the Laz Rojas series; while it could have a header with {{main}} and/or see also entry here, I believe it should be covered as its own article. --Quasar (talk) 13:33, 1 October 2021 (CDT)

I agree, at best there could be a reference to it as stated, it should have its own separate page. --Dynamo128 (talk) 14:08, 1 October 2021 (CDT)
Agreed. I only added it in here so it atleast had a prominence on the WolfenDoom page and mentioned that it very likely needed its own page. Due to fatigue from having to deal with a nasty fever i didn't had it in me to make a wholly new separate page for it - If anyone wants to, you could just use the text from the Blade of Agony entry - That's basically the reason why i wrote it in the first place: As a preparation for the new page. Anyone who wishes to do that in my absence feel free to do so. --Redneckerz (talk) 14:51, 1 October 2021 (CDT)
This has been done finally. --Quasar (talk) 10:58, 5 August 2022 (CDT)
