Template:Port skel
From DoomWiki.org
This is the base template for a new source port page.
There are also other pages to consider:
- PortName/Version
- The CURRENT stable version number of your port (no dev builds)
- PortName/Date
- The release date of your CURRENT stable version: YYYY-MM-DD
If the version pages do not exist, they are not displayed. Version pages should only be created or updated when public releases occur. Having said sub-pages simplifies updating version numbers everywhere on the wiki!
This article or section is a stub. Please help the Doom Wiki by adding to it. |

Skeleton Source Port is not a real source port. This page's purpose is to create a base outline for copypasting into a new article (see "SNIPSNIP" comments in the wikitext).
Summary
This section of text contains more detailed information on this source port. If your source port is unreleased, then do not create subpages for it at all. However when you make your first release and subsequent releases, you create pages linking to [[Skeleton Source Port/Version]] which contains the version of your source port, omitting the initial "v". And the date of the latest release is [[Skeleton Source Port/Date]] in YYYY-MM-DD format.
