Instructions[edit]
The purpose of this template is to cite a Wikipedia article as a source. For linking to Wikipedia within article text, see Template:Wp.
Syntax:
- {{Wikipedia|title|date}}
title is the title of the Wikipedia article in question. You can optionally add the word date as a second argument, imperatively followed by another pipe and five tildes, which appends a time stamp (making it easier to identify the revision you used).
For example, if you typed
