Temporal Tantrum is a 28-map megawad for Doom II designed for MBF21-compatible source ports by Bartekmil, Brxyz, EnragedEggplant, LunchLunch & Washing Machine Enthusiasts (who was the project lead). It was released on the Doomworld forums on January 23, 2023.
The project makes use of the 32in24-15 texture pack, with additional textures and decorative sprites by ChopBlock223, and contains three new monsters as well as a modified spiderdemon. In addition, through the use of UMAPINFO, the maps are divided into seven episodes. MAP30 retains its Icon of Sin placement and is accessed immediately after MAP28 (again using UMAPINFO functionality).

Story[edit]
The UAC has developed new gate technology that connects any two points in time and space. The UAC has now reported that they have lost contact with the secret facility housing the prototype gate. You have been sent to investigate. Your superiors suspect another demonic incursion. If this is what has happened, your orders are to stop the incursion by whatever means necessary.
Custom monsters[edit]
- Cambion
- A plasma marine, similar to those in Scythe 2, but significantly slower.
- Diabolist
- A red variant of the arch-vile with significantly more health. It cannot resurrect monsters, but fires a flurry of mancubus projectiles after completing a normal arch-vile attack.
- Flayed
- A faster variant of the revenant that can only use melee attacks.
- Flying spiderdemon
- A spiderdemon that can fly. Its bounding box is also much smaller, making it more maneuverable.
Levels[edit]Episode 1: Rusted Rage
