The thorn thing is an enemy from Hacx. This huge red spider-like creature possesses 600 hit points.
Tactical analysis
Thorn things are slow and therefore it is easy to escape from them if necessary. They attack by firing homing red orbs at the player. These orbs are hard to dodge and deal a lot of damage. Since they are big, it is easy to hit them with most weapons, but it is recommend to use heavy weapons to take them down, as they are quite dangerous.
