Thorn thing

Thorn Things are enemies from HacX. These huge red spider-like creatures possess 600 hit points.
Thorn Things are slow and therefore it is easy to escape from them if necessary. They attack by firing homing red orbs at the player. These orbs are hard to dodge and deal a lot of damage. Since they are big, it is easy to hit them with most weapons, but it is recommend to use heavy weapons to take them down, as they are quite dangerous.
It's "humanoid spider" appearance and homing orb attack make it extremely resemblant to Quake's vore. Ironically, it was because of Quake that Hacx failed to be a succes.
