The title screen does not appear if command line parameters or a GUI launcher are used to begin a new game immediately.

Doom
This is slightly different from the box cover art, which shows the marine's left wrist being grabbed by a Baron of Hell, while he shoots another in the neck. Also, his buddy is being killed by a Baron of Hell, while in the SNES cover the companion (a marine in grey armour) is seen rushing up to the green marine's aid.
The Ultimate Doom
This is exactly the same as Doom's title screen, but it has the text “The Ultimate” added to it.
Doom II
This shows the marine, with helmet off, fighting a Cyberdemon.
Final Doom - TNT: Evilution
This depicts the space ship from Hell orbiting Io, where the game takes place.
Final Doom - The Plutonia Experiment
Here, some three-dimensional letters spell out “The Plutonia Experiment” in front of a landscape with rocky ground and a hellish sky.
