Trite

Trites are enemies found in Doom 3. They resemble a spider, with an upside down humanlike head, and possessing many eyes. These enemies usually come in swarms, and are rarely seen alone.
Trites attack by lunging towards the player, or biting at close range. In groups, Trites can be really deadly and can be considered a threat, especially when many attack the player at once, often to the point of death. Fortunately, Trites don't come out in huge groups often, and they have a low amount of HP, and a couple of pistols shots at least are needed to kill one. Trites die differently from other enemies, curling up into a ball, and then explode into a huge puddle of green blood.
