Ultimate Doom the Way id Did (often abbreviated as UDTWiD) is an episode replacement PWAD for The Ultimate Doom, designed to mimic the mapping style of John Romero, Sandy Petersen, American McGee, Shawn Green, John Anderson (Dr. Sleep) and Tim Willits. It is the result of a community project led by Gus Knezevich (Alfonzo). The development started on February 14, 2014, and the final version was uploaded to the idgames archive on February 16, 2019. UDTWiD is an expansion of Doom the Way id Did.

As before, each level name is taken from a verse from the King James bible.

Only map E4M9 uses a different soundtrack, "The End of DOOM" by Robert Prince.
