Friendly feedback

Hey, thanks for linking the MAP30 Tyson demo for the two pages! I have now fixed the links but there still are a few things I'd like to point out. At first, if you're uncertain with the results of your edits, you can use the Show preview feature of the wiki. Instead of saving each minor change separately to see what was carried out, you can test that while being in the preview mode. The issue is that the page displaying the recent changes will become filled with material that necessarily doesn't have to be there. This is just a recommendation after noticing your edits in MAP30: Icon of Sin.

But then, I'd really like to know the source for the rules change in UV max you told about. At Bužanić's site, it still says that the player needs to kill "every monster at least once", without any mentions about arch-vile resurrections (UV Maxkills). It just made me wonder that if the official site doesn't know it best, what does? :) --Jartapran 13:22, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Obviously, I'm not User:4shockblast, but I can answer that last question. The UV max ruling about resurrected monsters was clarified by Adam Hegyi back in the day... but only on the old site's forum, which you can't read without registering an account. Graham Burgess (Grazza) describes this, among other notes on UV max, in this Doomworld post, and I agree that with Compet-n's resurrection, these really ought to be added to the official rules page once and for all.
As for Template:competnftp, which came up during the edits to the MAP30 page, it would be best if it was changed so it links to fx's site instead of the old one, allowing new demos to use the template as well. The Green Herring(talk) 18:08, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
