Project Brutality and copyright[edit]

Hi there! User:Ryan W noticed that the content you have started the Project Brutality page with is copied and pasted from the mod itself. This could be a problem, because the content might not be compatible with our Wiki license. Please take a look at Doom_Wiki:Copyrights to find out more. Can you confirm that the content is OK per that, or not? Thanks! -- Jdowland (talk) 05:10, 26 April 2016 (CDT)

Hey, I see you're still here, cool - I'd really appreciate it if you could open a dialogue with us so we can clear this up, as things stand all your edits are at risk if we can't confirm that they are legit :( -- Jdowland (talk) 04:53, 29 April 2016 (CDT)
I left an explanation in greater detail on the page talk page that, to my knowledge, I have not violated any copyrights and that there were no prohibitions against the copying of, in full or in part, of information already publicly cited in a majority on the page of the mod itself. If the concern it's still a problem is too great, I have no objections to all the content being removed in the interests of cautious prudence. Arcane (talk) 08:14, 29 April 2016 (CDT)
If there's any question we can always rewrite the text in our own words; I'd prefer this to removing it. --Quasar (talk) 11:16, 29 April 2016 (CDT)
Sorry I missed your reply. Let's continue the conversation there. -- Jdowland (talk) 12:10, 3 May 2016 (CDT)
