There has been a little discussion about entries in speedrunning tables and whether updating them manually now is effective. This pointer is not meant to deter you from updating them if that's where your interest lies, and both the new DSDA site and bot-based edits are probably a long(er) way off. So it's something to consider, but ultimately please continue editing where you feel you can make a worthwhile contribution, and have fun. :) --Xymph (talk) 09:46, 23 February 2018 (CST)

:Yes, I was aware that there is a new DSDA updater bot (that will take speedrun data from the API of the new site) being developed that is going to eliminate the need to update the DSDA tables myself, but I have decided to continue manually updating the DSDA tables for now so that there is less work that the bots need to do when the DSDA updater bot and the new DSDA site rolls out in the future. By the way, I am modifying the tables that pertain to more popular MegaWADs that are not as commonly uploaded to the DSDA (such as with what I have done to the DSDA tables for the Epic 2 maps) rather than the small, newer side projects which are the WADs that players tend to currently upload more frequently on the DSDA. Updating speedrunning records[edit]

Welcome to this wiki.
