Doom 3 map dataEdit

Hey, since your contributions demonstrate a good amount of Doom 3 knowledge, would you mind commenting at Doom Wiki:Central Processing#Doom 3 map data? Thanks. —Shidou T/C 16:10, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Italicization of "primary topic" game namesEdit

Please note that our style guidelines indicate that the titles of our primary topic games - the Classic Doom series, Doom 3 and its expansion packs, Heretic, Hexen, and Strife - should not be italicized in articles. The constant application of this style to every mention of the games becomes visually irritating and is too difficult to maintain consistently when the text is repeated dozens of times in most articles on this site.

It would be entirely appropriate to italicize something like Call of Duty, or Masters of Doom, where such things are called for by English writing standards. But we make exceptions for the core games here due to the factors above. --Quasar 06:28, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

AgainEdit

We're going to have an issue if you continue to disregard the advice given. If I have to revert another change that is nothing but adding italics to Doom 3, against community style guidelines, you may be blocked for up to two weeks under vandalism, pending discussion with other admins. Consider this fair warning. I have appreciated your constructive edits very much, but do not appreciate being ignored with regard to this issue. At the least, it would be appropriate to open discussion about the policy on Central Processing, if you disagree with it and feel it should be changed. --Quasar 19:07, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
