Another request is to apply the usual gallery settings when adding a [[Special:Diff/231012/231910|new gallery]] to an article. See the examples on [[Special:Diff/230977/232001|existing galleries you expanded]], i.e.: {{c|<nowiki><gallery mode="nolines" widths="200px" heights="118px"></nowiki>}}. Also, captions best start with a [[Special:Diff/231850/231930|capitalized word]], although the wiki isn't entirely consistent in that yet.<br>As a general approach, studying how things are done elsewhere can provide valuable insights how to improve the quality of your own contributions. Verbatim copyvio

While we appreciate your desire to document the codex thoroughly, we cannot post such verbatim text in large quantities, as it does not meet the definition of fair use under copyright law. Please review our Policies and guidelines, Terms of use, and Copyrights information before adding any further material you did not write yourself. --Quasar (talk) 17:23, 11 September 2020 (CDT)

Screenshot licensing

Hi, when uploading screenshots, from Doom Eternal or other games, could you please select the correct license in the upload form from the drop-down list, or retroactively add them like this? With your latest volume of uploads, this would save reviewers a lot of work, and also ensure the screenshots get correctly categorized automatically. Thanks! --Xymph (talk) 05:09, 18 September 2020 (CDT)

Thanks for the message! I'll definitely add the licensing. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Quinn today (talkcontribs) .
Good. Sorry I didn't mention this in my original post (was in a hurry to head out to an appointment), but it would be a nice bonus if you could also add a brief description with uploaded screenshots in their Summary sections. There are plenty examples in the pertaining category. (Btw, to sign talk posts, type --~~~~) or use the toolbar button, 9th from the left.) --Xymph (talk) 07:44, 18 September 2020 (CDT)

Gallery dimensions

Another request is to apply the usual gallery settings when adding a new gallery to an article. See the examples on existing galleries you expanded, e.g.: <gallery mode="nolines" widths="240px" heights="150px">. Also, captions best start with a capitalized word, although the wiki isn't entirely consistent in that yet.
As a general approach, studying how things are done elsewhere can provide valuable insights how to improve the quality of your own contributions. Thanks, and a belated welcome to the wiki. --Xymph (talk) 08:01, 18 September 2020 (CDT)
