Hi Ryaxnb, welcome to the Doom Wiki.  I am glad to see that you are interested in how-to guides, as we are really lacking in articles for [[Talk:Entryway#How do I download and run Doom?|brand new players]] and/or people totally unfamiliar with technical topics.

May I ask why you want people to add their signatures?  It is redundant, because the software [http://doomwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Wolfenstein_3D&action=history automatically keeps track of every contributor].  Also, I assume you intend the guides to eventually move into the main article space, where they would become increasingly hard to read as they accumulated hundreds and hundreds of signatures.

Welcome[edit]

Hi Ryaxnb, welcome to the Doom Wiki.  I am glad to see that you are interested in how-to guides, as we are really lacking in articles for brand new players and/or people totally unfamiliar with technical topics.

May I ask why you want people to add their signatures?  It is redundant, because the software automatically keeps track of every contributor.  Also, I assume you intend the guides to eventually move into the main article space, where they would become increasingly hard to read as they accumulated hundreds and hundreds of signatures.

Anyway, good luck and happy editing!    Ryan W 18:33, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
