Articles for multi-level WADsEdit

Hi, and welcome to the wiki. Creating articles for notable WADs is fine, but please do not create them for individual maps in multi-level series, like E1M1 for TPH. This is extensively automated already and the manual, incomplete skeletons just get in the way of the scripted process. I'll do the whole series when I have some time. Thanks. --Xymph (talk) 09:27, 2 May 2022 (CDT)

Thanks for letting me know. Sena (talk) 12:39, 2 May 2022 (CDT)
Also, for single-level PWADS, following this instruction results in a proper skeleton. --Xymph (talk) 06:33, 3 May 2022 (CDT)
Either use that, or please leave out the skeleton altogether. But the partial, improperly spaced section list is just getting in the way. --Xymph (talk) 13:44, 26 June 2022 (CDT)

Good evening and nice to see you hereEdit

I have recently started actively participating here and editing content, and it's nice to see someone new join as well. I have already made it into a habit to check in at least once a day, and take a look at recent changes and that is how I noticed that. I would assume you had been using this site as an anonymous user for a long time, though, so my intention behind the phrase "someone new" is actually to convey the meaning of a new account rather that a new person :} --31.60.42.217 15:52, 2 May 2022 (CDT)

Learning from reviewsEdit

Hi, it would appear you are not actively tracking Recent Changes nor learning from edits by reviewers to your new articles. That is understandable with new arrivals. but it is kind of expected from regular contributors such as yourself. Could you please start doing both? Specifically:

  • Add the correct category to title screens, mention correction of aspect ratio for a bonus point. ;)
  • Add release months; leave off .zip from idgames links (it links to a dead legacy server); do not insert styling inside the {{wp}} template but around it, so the wp can be shortened to one parameter where the page URL is the same as the linked text; and precede main section headers (two ='s, and three too depending on context) with an empty line for readability.

Avoiding these in your future contributions would save this one overloaded reviewer some time/energy. Can you apply the above to today's article and image? Thanks a bunch. --Xymph (talk) 13:44, 26 June 2022 (CDT)
